I saw a Bitty Baby Bunny PJ Set on Ebay and the starting price is $98.95!!!! The seller must think it has been retired for many years! I hate when sellers try to make you pay a lot for something that isn't rare! [img]mad.gif[/img]

That's a crazy price! It was just retired right around Christmas. I personally wouldn't pay almost $100 for an outfit that was originally sold for $24 unless it is exremely rare.
I just saw one sell on e-bay last week for $91. I couldn't believe it.
I think the reason they are selling so high is because it is an adorable outfit that actually looks like something a baby would wear, and there was no warning before it was discontinued-it never showed up on the sale page or at the outlet. I think it just sold out and AG didn't order anymore made. I don't understand their thinking. If something is that popular, if I was a company I would milk it and order another run in production-maybe only half of the original run, but still, why not make more money? [img]graemlins/thinking.gif[/img] I just don't get their logic.
We have that outfit, and it is one of the cutest! I think it was one of the last things I bought with the Sam DVD code. I hate knowing it sold for almost $100 dollars on e-Bay, however. It makes me feel like we should sell it or keep it in pristine condition. After all, these are supposed to be play things for kids and knowing how much it could be worth makes me kind of crazy!

I saw once saw this outfit sell for $85. It is in the $90's now! Whew! It is cute but GEESH, fot ninety dollars you could get 2 new Bittys or one 18 inch doll!
